Olufemi started his career with the Lagos State Ministry of Finance – State Treasury Office – from where he was posted to serve as an Accountant II working on the implemented Oracle ERP in the Lagos State Ministry of Housing in 2001

He served in the Lagos State Ministry of Science and Technology for a very brief stint before he was deployed to the Lagos State Electricity Board from where he was again posted to serve in the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget.

He continued his career as the Treasury Accountant and later Management Accountant at the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority where he has continued to serve the State.

Born to Akindele and Aderemi Obe in October 1976 in Lagos, he attended the Fountain Nursery Lagos, Air Force Military School, Jos, Plateau State before obtaining a B.Sc. in Accounting from The University of Lagos. Married to Adeola, he holds a Master’s degree from the Lagos Business School and certifications from Wharton and Smith Business Schools.
