LAMATA is raising the bar on project implementation by strengthening its commitment to Environment, Social, Health, and Safety (ESHS) standards.

The ESHS department of LAMATA launched a new capacity-building series, kicking things off with a well-attended in-house workshop.

The event, which saw Managing Director, Engr. Mrs. Abimbola Akinajo in attendance, emphasized the crucial role of interdepartmental collaboration in upholding ESHS best practices.

Presentations from Head of ESHS, Dr. Adeolu Ojo, Dipo Quadri, and Ibironke Omorhirhi highlighted how a unified approach to safety and sustainability is the heartbeat of every successful LAMATA project.

This training series, aims to not only enlighten staff but also to build bridges between departments.

By fostering a shared understanding of ESHS principles, the entire LAMATA team will be empowered to work together and more effectively to deliver a world-class integrated multimodal transport system for Lagos.
