Desmond Amiegbebhor PhD, FCILT – Director, Bus Systems
Dr. Desmond Amiegbebhor has been involved in the management of transport operations both in the private and public sectors for over 24 years with educational background in Transportation Operations Planning and Urban Transportation Geography from the Federal University of Technology Owerri and University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) respectively.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK. He is also an alumni of Lagos Business School, Management Centre in the UK and Harvard Business School respectively.
Dr. Desmond Amiegbebhor is a vested transport professional with leading roles in Transport Operations Management, Transport Service Planning and Transport Research. He has published over ten editorials on topical transport issues in both local and international journals.
He facilitates Transportation Management Classes in the Lagos Business School’s Supply Chain and Logistics Programme.
Dr. Desmond Amiegbebhor joined LAMATA in 2007 with a key strategic focus to drive the Bus Reform programme which commenced with the implementation of the BRT scheme in 2008. In view of his professional capabilities, he now heads the Bus Systems Department of LAMATA as the Director.
